What should I do if I would like to introduce a new work activity involving processing of personal data?

Personal data should only be processed if it is essential. If in doubt, check with your hierarchy regarding the basis for processing the personal data. Check that OC 11 principles are respected. For example, question whether the handling of the personal data is essential for the task? Who is asking you to create the work activity? If the request is being initiated by TE, the Department is a data controller and the activity must be covered by a Privacy Notice. Check the current TE privacy notices, if the activity does not appear to be covered, contact your group data protection representative or your Department Coordinator.
